Forums - Gaming - PS4 failed in Japan. PS4 become maybe last place in hardware selling. But whats the reason?

Wow, this has got to be the worst post of the month, congratulation.

OT: It hasn't failed, but its slow start is due to less hype than in the west, hardly any appealing sofware for the market and a shrinking console market, it's really not rocket science.

Wait for the third parties to make their jump, then we'll see the real sales potential for the console.

Do you not comprehend the fact that the PS4 has no system selling games in Japan? That it has literally been only 4 months?

What in the hell does Sony's finacials have to do with the performance of the PS4 in Japan.

Seriously,grasping for reasons to downplay the system when we all know full well, regardless of what happens in Japan, ps4 sales wise, the tide will not change one bit.

He apparently aslo doesn't know how big Sony is. Sony can bleed money for an extra 20 years and still not go out of business.

Tbh, i easily understand PS4 sales in Japan. The thing I don't understand - is why it sold so good in the West. Thats a real puzzle for me.
