There have been rumors of a new PS3 model for quite some time now. I think they want to make it 150. Or at least less than 200.
This is relevant to my interests.
However how long between registrating a device and then finally releasing it? Could be a thing for E3 2015 for all we know.

I wouldnt be surprised to see a new SKU with no disc drive put on the market as a test.
Make it $350 and sales will be good.

But wouldn't that be just working against themselves? I thought their interest is to sell as many BluRay drives and discs.
PS4Now: No discdrive, 1TB HDD and improved pricing in the Playstation Network Store (obviously for all models). Do it Sony!

Price won't save the massive backlash of all the people that will not buy it.
They could actually sell a discless console for 100$ because of the huge profit margins for games.
