Do you even remember the atrocity that was the WiiU library in its first year? Do you even know what games are announced at this point for every other console, but the WiiU? Do you not see that the WiiU pretty much made it certain that Nintendo will never, ever again  have a fighting chance in the home console market? Or you are simply OK with exclusives like GC remakes and 3DS ports?How much time will those be enough? The handheld market is colapsing, and the 3DS sells less and less every year. Yes the Vita numbers are terrible on the other hand the PS4 is raping .

 

Also when you compile gaming lists and brag about metacritic score, dont forget that there are DD only games to on the market. Maybe Nintendo forgot about that function on most of their 21'st century devices, but their rivals didnt Thats what you get when your target audience lives in caves :))

There is absolutly no facade. I have vocally stated my views regarding the fate of Nintendo several times on this site. Just because I hate the direction it has taken in the last genertion and I think that most of their farnchises are overrated and overprotected by the gaming community, it doesnt mean that I dont have any fond memories of growing up with Nintendo games too. Actually I think thats exactly the reason why I am angry at them the most. Oh well, at least they are actually making quality software in the handheld scene, and sooner or later I will buy a 3DS like I do with every Nintendo handheld thus far.

The only difference is that compared to many in this thread I actually took off my nostalgia glasses when they started to go down on a patch, that only the most diehard fans would consider good.

But thats enough derail for this thread, from my part. I already went way beyond what the OP asked.

On topic I would like to add one more prediction: Nintendo will unveil this e3 new franchises, that even tough will look and play in a cool fashion, they will be far to niche to make any difference in the overall console sales trend. They will have plenty of software to keep the systems they have afloat, but nowhere near enough to actually be competitive, like they where in the 2006-2009 period.

Yes, and that´s why I was very disappointed the Ocarina of Time remake was for the 3DS, and not the Wii U.A remake of that gem deserved to be played on a big screen, and not on the frickin tiny 3DS screens.

From video games fans. People who just happen to play a system for its games, not for its brand.

Nintendo won E3 2010 hands down because they showed off the best games. They havent done the same since.

Though a terrible mess of a presentation, Nintendo did ok in e3 2012 in terms of showing the good games out soon. A dishonest trailer for watchdogs, a game that's still not out, "Won" that E3 for sony in the eyes of the press and masses but Nintendo delivered what they showed quickly and accurately.

If Nintendo does show the best games on e3 2014 people will still say they suck.
