I don't think you could really describe Pikmin 3 as beautiful :P Its origin as a Wii game was pretty obvious...

The game being 720p/30fps just added insult to injury.

It was certainly a great game, but god damn was it ugly xD

Pikmin is a great franchise and it definitely deserves those high scores!

3D World looked an awful lot better and ran at twice the performance level. Pikmin 3 was a graphical joke... even its art style was bland, and that's coming from some who completely adores Nintendo's art style.
