Forums - Microsoft - Major Nelson - Microsoft doing something at E3 that hasn't been done before

I believe MS is going to have a great E3... We already know a lot (at least based on rumors) of things.

They got ton of exclusives, Halo remake (which is huge when you think about it, not only one game but 4 of them, the whole masterchief saga), new IPs... Plus that from Major Nelson...

Also MS is already announcing a lot of stuff pre-E3 which, I believe, shows how many good news they have and they cannot fit everything under 90 minutes.

I'm really excited.

Releasing stage demos on Live is interesting, but I'd imagine it would be difficult convincing 3rd parties to get on board with the idea. E3 can't come soon enough.

Nintendo did demos for media during last years e3 show.

They released stage demos to download on WiiU right after the show?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I feel like you made that joke yesterday...

VGC lives on running gags.

Trust me, you are much better off if you treat the whole site like a giant sitcom.

You should be the friend that dies, to add more drama to the show.

I mean, Nintendopie crying. That would be a first.

I think it will be that you can use SmartGlass to vote for some stuff you want to see. As example "Do you want to see a Sunset Overdrive singleplayer or multiplayer demonstration" and stuff like that.

They tried it out on other shows but not E3 and this time they could implement it for votes like in my example and not only "which weapon should the host hold in his hand after the break"

I could see that happening. Maybe have some voting options pop up in the live stream on Xbox as well. Would be cool

They'll buy out in an hostile take over one of competing company before the end of their conference... Now that would be a first ;p

no but seriously I don't think anybody here has the right idea every speculation I have read so far has been done or is not really big enough to justify the buzz...

maybe they'll do a show with absolutely zero executive talk.... And just content demo and trailers one after the other during 90minutes... Now bummer I do like the exec talk and number pushing...

^Thats been done before already.
I remember watching an E3 on my xbox 360 and it gave me questions to answer.
I dont remember if it was for E3 or for TGS

The smartglass vote is something I could see fitting the description...
