Forums - Gaming Discussion - HD console graphics performance comparison charts

Hey everyone, we have arrived in the new generation of consoles for a while now. Pretty much every technical detail that we are ever going to know of the systems has been shared, but still there seems to be debate about what the difference in graphics power really is. So i decided to try and clear things up a bit so we can avoid unecessary debate, and can go back to talking about the games instead. And what better way to do that on VGChartz then with.... charts! The numbers should speak for themselves, be free to discuss!

WiiU is a lot weaker than I thought. The rest is pretty much common knowledge

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

Source of these numbers?

And still no 1080p. Maybe it was just unreasonable for me to think that 1080p 30FPS would be a standard this gen, (except for Wii U of course) but whatever. I'd really rather have 1080p than extra effects and whatnot.

Lack of legitimate source = no credibility.

What about the Wii?

EDIT: I see the title HD consoles, but I want to see what kind of jump there is from the Wii to Wii U

Current consoles: Wii U, Gaming PC

All specifications of any gpu are listed there(PS4 and Xbox One have been updated not to long ago). You can check any tech site, they al list the same numbers.

You don't even know what the Wii U GPU is, nobody does except devs/designers under NDA. Any public specs on it are speculative and therefore illegitimate.

All Sony exclusives are 1080p. Don't blame PS4 for third party's incompetence :)

also not sure why you mention Wii U...several of its games are 720p/30fps, including exclusives.

I didn't add the Wii because the numbers are much lower and it would screw up the lines, and the chart would become to wide. But you can look the numbers here if you like: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_graphics_processing_units#Comparison_table:_Console_GPUs
