| VanceIX said: The CPU on the Wii U lags a little behind the PS3 and 360, let alone the PS4 and One. The Wii U also has no hard drive, a fourth of the RAM of the other consoles, and a much different (and inferior) architecture. But the biggest problem? The idiots at Nintendo named it after the FREAKIN WII. C'MON. A lot of consumers associate Wii as being far behind the 360 and PS3 in terms of power, so that stigma carries over. I still prefer my Wii U to my PS4 (at least until the PS4 gets some actual games out), but Nintendo screwed up big time. |
I dont think the biggest problem is that it named it after the wii cause the wii was a hit and a well known name with the casuals... But the biggest problem imo is the U after the wii cause no one knows what the heck a wiiU is, specially the casuals... If they named it a Wii2 or WiiHD or WiiFapU or something that actually makes sense in English that didn't confuse the customers, I think it would have sold more cause for the longest time, all the consumers were thinking is that its a $350 tablet accessory
