I always enjoyed boxing, i'm a little over 2300 myself.
Switch Friend Code - 3664 - 9964 - 9777
Smash Ultimate Alias - Happy Lion
Mains: Donkey Kong, King K. Rool, Diddy Kong
Ha ha, I just put in Wii Sports to check it wasn't 2500 I remembered passing, I was at 2663
so I played a game, and moved up to 2682.
I'm going to see if I can pass 2700.
EDIT: YES!.... I had a match which pushed me up to 2699, then another to make it 2716. I won't do another because I rarely win more than 3 in a row, I get too tired.
The last thread that was about Wii sports skill levels though, someone had over 2700 for baseball!!!, which I see as much more of an acheivement because I can't get much higher than 1200.

No way! That's the best part!
Swing your arms like you really want to knock that bastard down, twist your body like you really are dodging punches, and keep your knees slightly bent, just like a real boxer. You get a great feeling of immersion and a fantastic workout to boot.
My only problem is that sometimes I get a little too worked up, and if I let the computer beat me I feel like breaking stuff. I'm kinda scared of myself when I get aggressive, I'm a pretty peaceloving chap most of the time.

Oh, yeah?! Well... I'm over...
... Not really. :(
The BuShA owns all!
The only problem with Wii Boxing is a minor control accuracy problem.
Other than that it's just like real life boxing. When you move like a boxer with it like actually dodging to the right with feet and body as well as hands...if you actually move as if you're the guy on the screen it becomes much more intuitive.
I still have difficulty doing uppercuts on command but I'm the master of the hooks.
Just swing your arm out wide in a hooking motion.
Also remember that the way you twist your fist changes how the punches come off. I learned to do head hooks by twisting my hand downward where my knuckles pointed north. And I did otherkinds of hooks while my hand was twisted upward with my palms pointing north.
Once I get my mastery of the punches down then from there it's only sweet science application. Learning when to see an opening and putting down the proper punishment.
Wii Sports can be played sitting down or body stiff but it really comes alive when you move your body like the sports it simulates. You get a more natural feel for the techniques. At least I did.
Now if only this would help my lousy tennis game! I'm pro at Golf before this one! Embarrassing! (Oh got a Hole In One once off the flag
)

Not once you get to the higher levels.

Wii Boxing gives you the most exercise out of all the sports...
It really gets a lot out of you
and is prob. the funnest out of the three.
@DMJ: Tennis is boring. Ironically I play tennis. Yo can't even string with the proper technique
it happens--mine was a few months ago and in the span of a day i hit pro in boxing-----your right--nothing is a fun as slowmo uppercutting
