One of the most over-hyped games I've ever played (really average)

Edit: Yes I didn't like the shooting mechanics at all.

Hmm yeah ok, i'm sure you liked gears of war better

Oh, well just a side note I didn't like Gears of War until Gears 3. So I'm still trying to get into the Uncharted games, so far i haven't really enjoyed any of them except 2.

I just started replaying Uncharted 1, and when you shoot them in the face from 3 feet away they turn into Voldo from Soul Calibur practicing a dance move, and they run towards you with rifles and still have perfect aim.

Maybe it's because it was NDs first TPS game. I never played 3 though, so can't comment there. I would hope it will be improved on the next game.

The only Uncharted with good shooting mechanics is number 1.

The rest is filled with bullet sponges and canned animations. No. 1 has canne animations but at least they're not all complete bullet sponges.

YES! I thought I was the only 1! I don't know what they did but it was impossible to hit anything when I first started playing!

In my opinion, it feels like the enemies are a little bit faster and better at using cover and moving about, the shooting itself feels pretty much the same to me.

That's what i thought as well. The shooting felt pretty much the same, the enemies were just less inclined to be shot :p

On a side note, i thought the shooting in TLOU was a big step up from UC1/2/3.

I played and beat the first two games and imo, there was too much shooting all together. I loved the games and I don't know if I've ever played something so close to a major motion picture before but, damn...cover,shoot,cover,shoot,cover,shoot etc.

Way too much of that. It got repetitive.

I got my 5 head shots in a row trophy very easily in UC3. So for me I don;t think there was much difference at all between the 3 games.
