The borderlands 2 (Borderlands 2 (PSV) [78754]) vita game sold according to the prelim 42.000 in the week it was only available as bundle with the vita.

Why are the prelim data for the vita less then 2.000 ?

It seems many gamers were waiting for the Slim PS Vita bundle before they pickup Sony's handheld. The new Borderlands 2 bundle includes a 8GB card, a digital copy of Borderlands 2 and the brand new Slim Playstation Vita with a LED screen rather than the old OLED screen.

Amazon, Gamestop and Target have depleted their stock and the new bundle is sold out online. This is good news for Sony how have been suffering from mediocre sales for quite a while now.

I don't think there was so much over or under tracking in this case so much as no tracking at all. ioi's tracking on Borderlands 2 Vita is crap, straight up. It's a bundle, you can't track sales of BL2 without tracking the same sales for Vita. How do you get the numbers if not for tracking the vita bundle?  ioi didn't track those sales of BL2, because he didn't track any of those sales for Vita.

It seems like those numbers are just a prediction based on the fact that he thinks it released this week and his numbers said preorders could suggest these sales.

I think there's questionable methodology in this case and I'd like to call him out on it.
