I don't think there was so much over or under tracking in this case so much as no tracking at all. ioi's tracking on Borderlands 2 Vita is crap, straight up. It's a bundle, you can't track sales of BL2 without tracking the same sales for Vita. How do you get the numbers if not for tracking the vita bundle? ioi didn't track those sales of BL2, because he didn't track any of those sales for Vita.
It seems like those numbers are just a prediction based on the fact that he thinks it released this week and his numbers said preorders could suggest these sales.
I think there's questionable methodology in this case and I'd like to call him out on it.
