Hahahaha, 2015 the XB1 has literally zero chance of catching up. That's when all the huge IPs start rolling out, and multiplats will always favor PS4. Do you think masses of gamers will clamor to play the inferior versions? 2015 will be even worse for the XB1 than 2014 has been. XB1's best two months were the first two due to the hardcore fanbase jumping in (who would have bought a RROD 360 that was melted, if the box said 'Xbox One!!!!11111oneoneoneone!').
All they can do is balance how terribly they do with 'okay' US/UK numbers. They're dead in Europe, Japan is useless to them, China is a mistake, and most of their games aren't even coming out until 2016.
The die is set, XB1 is at best a 2nd-place console. At this point you should wonder if they will catch WiiU in 2015. PS4 is gone like the wind.
All I know is that the Halo MCC bundle will dominate all bundle sales in November and December.

Nope, Halo MCC will sell like hotcakes to existing XB1 owners, but the hardcore Xbox fanbase is already on board with their XB1s.
It's the Titanfall effect all over again, only this time perhaps even less so (exciting new IP vs. rehashed old games that are played out).
No HD remake has a shot at doing much of anything this gen other than serving as filler. Not TLOU, not GTAV, not Halo, nothing. People want new games, not old crap reheated. The most successful rehashes will sell 1-2M. Halo 1 HD got to what, 3M on a massive install base after YEARS of availability? Meh.
The only shot a MCC bundle has at major sales is if it's $299, or if it's basically the default SKU for sale at the time (eg; there's no 'vanilla' XB1 available for less money). Which is why Titanfall bundles sold, they were $50 less than buying the XB1 with no game, and for a long time that was the only SKU you saw in stores (As they reskinned unsold consoles to try to get them moving).

This makes no sense if we have to wait for the Holidays then it totally means this thread DID NOT come true because that is NOT soon AT ALL. Again I am one of the few that have faith that the XB1 will catch up in the US but SOON(which is false anyway seeing as this prediction was made in May)....not a chance.

And if Vgc is right (could happen once in a decade right?) x1 is outselling ps4 by 2k weekly, that will take only 325 weeks (or 6 years) to overtake. That is soon enough if you count in millenias.

Not sure why the Op is even boasting considering at this rate it will take 100 weeks to catch up... That's not soon.

Hate to break it to you, but PS4 won USA last week.

That assuming it even makes progress considering its only officially outsold the PS4 for 1 month.
XB1: Dec 2013
PS4: Nov 2013, Jan 2013, Feb 2013, Mar 2013, Apr 2013, May 2013
And frankly June looks like it could be anyones game, they lost with TitanFall, if they lose with a price cut I doubt they'll be saved by nothing less of a real Halo game, and even by the time MCC comes out, their is a couple more months. PS4 would probably only have to sell half of what the XB1 does in America, to maintain its gap.
