North America is home of shooters. Microsoft has Halo and Gears, which will both help sell consoles. However, those don't launch until next year, which may be too late. I think the remastered Halo collection is more fan service than a console mover.

I think NA will be decided by Destiny this fall. Destiny will definitely be a console seller, for both Sony and Microsoft. However, if Sony market the snot out of it (to give the impression that it is an exclusive), and it sells as well as Watch_Dogs did, the lead Sony builds could be insurmountable by next year.

Yep. Destiny will be far better on ps4, no question about that. And it's going to sell unbelievably well. BenV has basically the same impressions that I do.

It even puts halo 5 at risk, IMO.

Third party titles rule the market here in the US, and clearly the PS4 has that advantage this time around. So long as Sony continues to seek strong third party support, the XBone will be lucky to match the PS4 here in the US, let alone outsell it.

What good will it do when PS4 rules the roost for the rest of this year and is so far ahead of Xbox in every other country that Xbox's NA lead is insignificant?

Gears is still in the creative stage. Won't be released until 2016 at the earliest

Reading through these comments it seems most people think Titanfall is the best game the Xbox One will ever get. I know I wasn't interested in it and I'm yet to purchase an XO although I've owned their last two consoles. The fact is neither the PS4 or XO haven't received any must have exclusives yet so anything is possible. If the XO dropped to $299 before the PS4 and it had some killer games it would sell like hot cakes so lets stop acting like the gen was decided in 6 months.
