So now your saying MS made a new SKU, because there worried about retailer Shelf space
Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Are you seriously saying that Microsoft made a Kinect-less SKU because they needed more shelf space? You won't even consider the sales numbers had any impact at all? Really?

Nem said: I think its a more imediate reason. They filled retailers with the kinect version. Retailers probably dont want anymore. The only way not to stop production was to come up with a new model that retailers want to buy. Early adopters arent the only ones burned by this, as retailers are also left with quite a bit of inventory from the kinect pack. I imagine retailer price cuts on them will return in the furure.
Pretty sure it is the exact same model. They just made a new box that doesn't have a Kinect in it. As they said, you can always add it later.
Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
Because to the majority of the Xbox One gaming community dropping the Kinect is about the worst decision ever. Sure it would have been met with a few cheers at E3. But moreso, it would have been meet with boos and screams to get rid of Phil.
People the bought into the vision of Xbox One and early adoptors are not happy at all.
I don't see the point of getting and Xbox One without Kinect. I'd just stay on PC and get a controller. Kinect was this gen's innovation. I'm not sure what it is now.
The last thing they want is people yelling and throwing things at E3. Which is exactly what this disaster would have cause to happen.
I disagree with that, but I respect that you're sticking with your guns regarding this.
Thanks man.
And yes, I would have been leading the boos against them dropping Kinect if they announced it at E3. I know I would not be alone in this there are quite a fe Xbox One users that are not happy at all. It would have been THE talk about E3. "Fans, Developers and Reporters, react Angrily to Microsoft Announcement"
Some that hated Kinect realized, once you get to use it, it's something important. Heck, EVEN Boogie realize Kinect is good and you shouldn't get and Xbox One without it.
Think I'm making this up? See for yourself:
Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
Because the sooner there is a Kinectless X1 the better.
