900p hahahahahahahahahahah Though sony was all about 1080p 60fps. guess a double standard prevents sony fans from bitching about it.

Some are complaining... but since graphics don't matter and 720=1080p you shouldn't care right?

I dont't care at all. Sony fans are the ones that care. Hahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahah cant stop laughing. But it's so powerful and the xbox one cant do 1080p hahahahahahahahhahahahaha

Some probably care a lot, and some MS fans were butthurt on this as well, now if this is laughing material is a different matter.  Did you know a lot of MS members here used to brag about 4pixels 3fps difference on multiplats and saying it made the X360 version the definitive one?

Some probably care a lot, and some MS fans were butthurt on this as well, now if this is laughing material is a different matter.  Did you know a lot of MS members here used to brag about 4pixels 3fps difference on multiplats and saying it made the X360 version the definitive one?

Do not care what MS members think about resolution at all. have spent more time on atari 2600 then any system since and some of the best games were snes games. resolution does not make a game better. people who cry about resolution have issues.

I'm not exactlly sure what your implying but significant things can happen to people at early ages. Regardless, I'm not going to get into a "foolish and stupid argument."

The reason I put my age in there is to show that I grew up the same time that the video game industry was growing. Before I was alive, the video game industry was a joke. It's gotten a whole lot bigger as I've got older (we've grown together is my point. How this relates is that I experienced all of these new consoles/controllers as I was growing up, so they were pretty darn special for me but I'm ready for something new and that's why I like the gamepad.


Unless you started gaming at age 1 you probably missed both the NES and SNES/Genesis generation completely which was far from being any 'joke' as you put it. One could argue that if you missed the ZX Spectrum/Amiga/Commodore 64 you didn't get to play with such control schemes:

no mouse either to go with it at that point.

 

In any case, the controllers as we have them today are eons away from being the same as back in the old days. If you want something diferent that's fine though


I grew up playing both nes and snes as well as the original black and white chunky gameboy. Loved them all.

If I had a few grand, I'd build a monster PC and never look back. I really am quite let down by consoles this generation. It's the first time I didn't have that "wow" feeling for a new console (and my experince goes back to the early 80's). 

I think the future is mobile and PC. Either that or VR. Consoles are, sadly, antiquated imo. Hopefully that changes.
