3DS is a HANDHELD and has only been out for 3 years. Console experiences give me more thrills 95% of the time and the Wii has been out much longer so it has a better developed library

3DS. I never got into the Wii and only ever bought 3-4 games for it, Motion controls made me completely uninterested in the system and lacked RPGs I liked.
3DS has Pokemon, Zelda, SSB*, Persona Q*, Mario, Animal Crossings: NL, Fire Emblem, Bravery Default, and maybe... just MAYBE, eventually, someday.. the Dragon Quest VII remake, etc. Plus it helps I've always been a handheld gamer vs. a console gamer, so for me it'll always be 3DS.
*They may not have released yet, but I count them anyway

I said it, say my name next time. And i stand by it, matter of fact ill go so far as saying Wii had one of the worst libraries of a system ive seen in some time. Ive already explained why numerous times. to be short Wii did have some good games but alot of them were VERY overrated.

As for 3ds it has games i actually LIKe to play. It has a better Mario Kart (didnt like Wii), a follow up to one of my favorite games on GC (Luigi's Mansion) a great 3d mario which is just as good as the Galaxies if not better IMHO. A GREAT Kingdom Hearts game. A better version of Donkey Kong Country Returns. a RE game that wasnt a port. I could go on but ill stop there. THe library isnt even done yet. We still have Smash coming and hell even the 3ds version looks like it will be better than Brawl

I own a hell of a lot of 3ds games and it has some truly great games like kid Icarus uprising, fire emblem, ALBW and Luigi's mansion 2. Some great ports of old games like Starfox 64, super street fighter 4 and oot, and some great versions of indy games like cave story and vvvvvv.

I played less games on the wii so am less qualified to make a judgement. It had great games and I'd rate many of the games highly. Some are better than any of the 3ds games to my mind. But the list of highly regarded wii game I've not played is also quite high. It's why I'd really love a good hd port of Xenoblade.

For me personally, I'm getting a lot more enjoyment out of my 3DS than I did out of my Wii. The libraries are different, and 3DS caters to my tastes FAR better than Wii. If you included DS and Gamecube in the 3DS and Wii libraries, however, that would change in favor of Wii. Gamecube's lack of sales will always be the greatest crime the gaming world will ever know.
