it was a bad media storm for XBOX but the numbers sold as of right now aren't that surprising as playstation is a more popular console brand and they launched at the same time so 3m difference isn't that strange considering PS4 is level pegging in the US/UK the strong XBOX markets

decisions from now will see how well XBOX can peform against the PS4 like how much loss they want to take,making big exclusive ip's,

By no gamer I assume you mean yourself? I know plenty of people going digital including myself and some of my friends. 99.9% of people on PC are digital as well.

I'm against digital and i'm full digital on PC only. Why? Because you can't trade PC games in anyways. Console games are a different story.

And you are part of the reason why digital games on consoles are more expensive. 

Where are they expensive? Not on Steam, that's for sure..

I think it's still the price difference. The Xbox One is $100 more for weaker hardware, people just don't like that.

For me, the biggest mistake was the Microsoft PR. They acted like gamers were stupid and made ridiculous comments, "secret sauce", "deal with it", "the cloud will make Xbox One 10x more powerful'".
Hey MS, get a clue. Hardcore gamers are probably the smartest consumers on the planet.

And that reveal was CRINGE WORTHY, just like their last few E3 presentations. Focusing on everything but games.

Just FYI, there is an Xbone in our house. Belongs to my 14 year son. Its a fine system, but I am quite happy with my own PS4 and Wii U.

Forced Kinect and price difference is enough to keep me at bay. The DRM thing just signaled that the people that conceived and designed the XBO are not the same people that designed the X360. Other than all the hardware failures, the X360 was awesome as a console with the services, and games.

Both were damaging. They addressed one of those issues, but the other is still outstanding, and in all that time post-release the Kinect 2.0 continues to prove itself to be largely worthless even as an optional accessory, yet it is still a forced include.

If I really want to play "more" Kinect Sports, I will just boot up my X360 with the $150 Kinect I bought for that a few years back. I don't need gimmick 2.0

Sacrificing manufacturing costs on Kinect as the cost of hardware power.

I would have bought a more powerful xone at $500 over a less powerful PS4. Both have exclusives I like but most of the best games are multiplats.
