Hope they bring back the Hoenn Battle Frontier. To this day, I`ve beaten the Sinnoh Battle Frontier but still haven`t managed to get all the symbols in Emerald.

If they bring back Feebas to Milotic's original evolution method through beauty, no table will be safe.

I think the Safari Zone may get cut and replaced with Friend Safari. I thought for a moment they might keep the look but make it a Friend Safari but given how the Platinum Battle Frontier was copy-pasted to HG/SS, I doubt it sadly ;-;

I think routes may be extended/added. This is because the games routes would look very short in a 3D perspective vs. the previous 2D look

The PokeNav will probably be lost and replaced with the online function of X/Y

Maybe Friend Safari.  Definitely routes. Pokenav will stay and just incorperate online functionality. Contests will stay.

The only real casualty will be... the Game Corner...

I too have struggled to get all of those symbols too. They were fun and I loved the music playing when you challenged each brain. :D

They teased a facility in X/Y, I hope it meant that one.

Longer routes and bigger cities
More caves
Night/Day cycle
Night music (?)
Pokemon follows you like HGSS (?)

Removed:
Probably nothing, really third gen was my favorite, but it was a little bareboned if you think about it. I doubt they remove Pokecontests, Pokenav, or secret bases.

Why not just make a 1:1 remake of the old classics? Havent played HG SS yet, are they 1:1 with the old versions?

HG/SS has a decent amount of changes. Actually a large amount. Conpletely new routes, a few new Rocket bosses, and a lot of other things
