Wii U easily beats GC's equivalent first party titles.

Mario 3D World (and NSMBU) > Mario Sunshine

Tropical Freeze > Jungle Beat

Pikmin 3 > Pikmin 1 & 2

And almost certainly Mario Kart 8 > Double Dash

Metroid Prime is reason enough to put Gamecube above the Wii-U.

You haven't played MK8 and you already know is better than double dash, ok. Actually is more than likely that wii u won't have better lineup than GC, if we only count first-party.

Sunshine, Wind Waker, and Melee sucked, Double Dash and Luigi's Mansion were mediocre, only the Metroid Prime games, the Pikmin games, and Twilight Princess really impressed. Wii U's well on its way to beating that.

Sunshine is debatable, it was indeed a controversial game, but didn't "sucked".  I certainly don't agree with you, what's next: Brawl is better than Melee and Tropical Freeze way better than the SNES trilogy?lol

Tropical Freeze is better than DKC 1 and 3 on SNES. Not way better, (they're all amazing games) but still better.

Personally I consider all the Smash Bros games to be rubbish. The physics and controls are just so freaking bad.
