Oh, I didn't realise Famitsu had released these already. Awesome.

Good for 3DS (up 8k?)... bad for everything else.

However, Sword Art Online held better than I was expecting it to (probably just GW effect though). NES Remix too.

Youkai did well. I'd say Mario Golf bomba, but COMG already pre-empted that :P

Also, pretty terrible for Touch Detective. Wonder if that's going to be the last one from Bamco now.

All the 3DS software re-entering is cool though. And kinda expected given Golden Week.

Nice sales for SAO. The PSP game did ~16k second week so 26k for the Hollowed Fragment is fantastic. I wonder how low Vita hardware will go before Freedom Wars, hopefully not below 15k.

This would be a pretty great week for Nintendo if it was a normal week, but it's Golden Week. This is sad.

Gotta love comments like these... It's selling better than the wii u even with a boost.

Wii U is doing shit and has been for some time, PS4 on the other hand is supposed to be the ultra dominant force, that crushes everything in its path.....but nobody told Japan that. Shame Xbone hasnt launched in Japan, then Nintendo fans will have something to mock.

As fun as it is to see the PS4 approaching Wii U numbers (and it will be more fun to see Wii U above PS4 in a few weeks) the bottom line is that this isn't good news for any fans of Japanese style games. A weak install base in Japan will decrease the viability of big budget console products and will encourage more developers to go the RE6 route and westernize their games. Hopefully both systems will see rises with key software.
