As fun as it is to see the PS4 approaching Wii U numbers (and it will be more fun to see Wii U above PS4 in a few weeks) the bottom line is that this isn't good news for any fans of Japanese style games. A weak install base in Japan will decrease the viability of big budget console products and will encourage more developers to go the RE6 route and westernize their games. Hopefully both systems will see rises with key software.
