Wow, so VGC is overtracking 3DS by a full million!?

And WiiU by some 100-150K

I think you could argue WiiU is spot on.

1) some retailers have stopped stocking it at all.
2) all other retailers don't carry much stock at all. Only a few units per store.
3) you have to remember that VGC numbers are up to April 26, 2014 while the Nintendo shipped figures are through March 31, 2014.... almost a month ago.

So, I think WiiU is spot on while 3DS is overtracked... but not massively.

Wrong 5,969,313, it looks like its spot on, maybe 20k-50k overtracked.

At least they aren't deluded with how many Wii U consoles they are expecting to sell

Think their 3DS forecast is too high as well, the console had great games and momentum last year which 2014 does not. They barely surpassed that figure last year

We know VGC has been overtracking the 3DS in the US for a while, so it's not surprising that it happened worldwide. We don't get reports leaks of EU and others numbers, so the difference kept increasing and increasing...

As Tbone says, WiiU is actually > 5,969,313
Possibly a bit overtracked.
