Just bought MLB 15 The Show for anyone who is interested. It's pretty good, even on PS3, but an incremental step up from 15 (*edit* 14). Also, does no one really know anything about headsets?

Has online play improved? I'll probably get it next week regardless, but this putting servers offline every year crap really botherred me this year.

I haven't seen any lag but I haven't played much online yet; mostly be a pro. BTW you can port your pro over from 14 and continue building on them

*edit* Road to the Show not Be a Pro

#1 Amb-ass-ador

Knack is the only good PS4 exclusive imo.

Man, am I like one and a half day too late to the party? Darn it.

ok serious question just want to make sure my friend isn't talking shit but do you really still have to install the fullgame on to the hdd if you got the physical copy? if yes why is this necessary?

As others have said already, you gotta do a full install, and it's painless. You asked about LBP3 earlier, it's install is 28 GB I believe (and it's a better platformer than #1 by a long shot IMO). All that said...the awesome quick installs are spoiled by update patches. You're still gonna wait 10+ minutes after initially sticking the disc in to play.

Edit: I recommend hitting Options and selecting Check For Updates from the menu rather than launching the game the first time.

Yes, much less floaty. Prior to 3's release I picked up 1 on the cheap as a refresher and was appalled, forgot how loose it felt. 3 feels solid though, ezpecially after the miriad of stability patches. Jumping and getting around the environment feels and works like one would want from a platformer. The "campaign" is short & sweet, but there's a lot of additional content out there for it.

PS4 Exclusive Bloodborne Sells-Through 87% of Shipped Copies as it Dominates Japan in its Debut Week

Today Media Create released its full top 50 sales charts for the week between March 23rd and March 29th, giving us the full picture of the Japanese video game market during Bloodborne‘s debut week.

Below, you can see the hardware chart:

  1. PS4 – 45,446
  2. Vita – 26,324
  3. New3DS LL – 18,823
  4. New3DS – 7,290
  5. Wii U – 6,698
  6. PS3 – 6,652
  7. 3DS – 2,883
  8. 3DS LL – 2,233
  9. Vita TV – 708
  10. Xbox One – 250

We also get a detailed analysis that lets us know the sell-through (sales to customers) percentage for Bloodborne compared to shipped units.

Total software sales were 1.285 million copies, which were 169.97% of last week. In addition to multiple release of popular titles, the spring vacation activated new software market. As a result, new software sales more than doubled from 411 thousand copies last week to 894 thousand copies this week, with total software sales outnumbering 1 million copies for the first time in 3 months since the beginning of the year.

Debuting on the top, “Bloodborne” sold 153 thousand copies in spite of exclusive title for PS4.  Its sell-through rate was as high as 87.06%, so it can be said that it got off to a smooth start. PS4 hardware has continuously sold more than 40 thousand consoles since last week, so the title led purchase of hardware.

“Sword Art Online: Lost Song” sold 194 thousand copies across 2 platforms. They greatly outsold initial weekly sales of “Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment” released in April 2014 for the Vita (145 thousand copies). Breakdown sales by console were 139 thousand copies for the Vita and 55 thousand copies for the PS3. While the Vita edition kept sales volume from previous installment, sales of the PS3 edition, which was for the first time in franchise, directly contributed to the whole sales, so the variety of users seems increasing.

A sell-through ratio of over 87% is definitely a great result for a new IP. SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida did mention that it was sold out in many stores in Tokyo.

It’ll be interesting to see if the PS4 will keep its momentum in Japan, now that releases of hard-hitting games are going to temporarily slow down.
