Surprising not, still funny to see how fast the internet can get so unreasonably enraged. The main thing I'm taking from this is that people are actually stupid enough to pay $20 for early access on a game (that eventually is supposed to be free to play) and then instead of complaining in a somewhat levelheaded fashion immediately raise up a total shitstorm, if something isn't as described (yet).

The internet hasn't known for being "levelheaded"

Oh not at all and it's proven that again in this instance.

I read this article about it and I pretty much agree with the sentiment of the author, people should try and take a step back, put their pitchforks down for a second and just assess what SOE are trying to do with this airdrop thing, but first and foremost people should realize that this game is being tested in the moment and is nowhere near in a finished state.

SOE was still pretty stupid for not talking about these Airdrops earlier.

Edit: Lol forgot linking the article

Completely agree. Also, if we've learned anything this generation is that it always best to tell truth or else you'll get bit in the ass later.

I really hope it gets good reviews. It looks good to me but there is a lot of negativity around

Not totally undeserved imo. If it gets solid 7s and 8s I'll buy it I guess.
