I doubt that, it was from the fifth chapter

No need to be so aggressive, the game looks far from great from a gameplay perspective from what has been shown, we don't have to always play the defense force. The game might still turn out well, but the shown/playable demoes up to this point were pretty mediocre.

So? It seems the game has around 15 chapters (last preview I read said chapter 5 was about 1/3 into the game, should've saved the link so I could post it here, i don't remember know...)
And stealth is a secondary component so it could very well be introduced at chapter 5, specially if the first is just a quick prologue. It's there for variety. For all we know it could only happen in three chapters (for example, 5, 8 and 10).
DerNebel i think the gameplay looks great.
I just hope The Order sells well (which is a possibility regardless of reviews due to the lack of competition in these months), so that they can make a sequel with co-op.
I think that had they created this one as co-op (I mean, there are 4 characters in the game) there would have been barely any criticism.

There'd be criticism from me..and everyone who wants a SP focused experience. Please, there are enough "open and dynamic" games, there are enough MP centric games, enough social centric games...
celador said: Perhaps. I have a problem with the fact that metacritic weighs different sites based on I don't know what, which I don't agree with either. I still believe that metacritic overall gives a decent idea of a game's quality, as long as that game is either really bad, or really good. Sonic Boom compared to Bayoentta 2 for example. I think it is in the middle where it gets murky. One game has it's scores reduced because of bugs, the next one doesn't. There is very little consistency. With The Order, the game still interests me, but not as much as it used to. I like the graphical quality, the art style, the music, some of the weapons look cool, and these werewolf/half-breed creatures are possibly interesting. But when almost all previews are negative, it is hard to remain optimistic. |
its illogical how it works. if one reviewer says the game is amazing, and one reviewer says it sucks balls, metacritic then goes it says its average, even when niether reviewer said it was average. and thats just one of the flaws with metacritic and reviews.
and yes, the weighs is a huge mind fuck too me. every time a shitty review comes out the reviewers always hide behind "its an opinion", if one reviewer goes from working at gamefreaks to ign, his reviews will wiegh differently, just because where he works is different, even though the quality of his work would remain the same. reviewers hide behind the opinion excuses, yet metacritic acts like a review site has some standards and every review represents the score of the site its self, (which would cause another problem because reviews within the same site dont hold up to that standard that metacritic acts it exists).
not sure if i am making my self clear or not, im pretty tired today. but the issues with the current system of reviews are plentifull, some from the reviewers, some from metacritic and some from the review sites them self. they all tangle up with each other to create an unconsistant, unstandarised, unprofessional cluster fuck of a system, then in no way represents true quality or fair judgment.

I hate how you have to preorder just so you can use a fighter.

Yeah I hope so too but I doubt it'll sell well with all these previews, which regardless of how clearly biased they are against this game, would definitely affect the general public's perception. Also, it being a linear and SP-only game limits its audience.
I also think this would have been an awesome co-op game, but because its RAD's first game in a long time I'm not complaining.

I already have all the games on PS4 released so far that I wanted to play. Bought all 13 of them at full price.
