I heard the MP/co-op trophies are easy though? If they're a pain in the ass I probably won't bother to platinum the game.

The tropies are easy, I'm not going to lie about it. FC4 is the third game I've ever platinumed. For the MP, all you need is play each level once, doesn't need to win or lose. Just play along. It took me an hour to get the trophy. I guess my problem is I haven't play an MP since I'm more of a solo palyer, or maybe my bad luck where the people who I plyaed with were assholes who didn't come to heal/revive me whenever I was hit. Respawning due to one hit from the other time is annoying. The Co-Op on the other has has the easiest 2 trophies. The problem I had was waiting almost 2 hours to get a matchmaking and the moment you join in, the host kicks you out. One time I got invited to someone game, he flipped the bird on the screen and then kicked me out from his game. That's rude.

Like what've said. Maybe it was my luck that I only faced selfish/bullies while playing the the mode. I guess it would be better if it was with my friends. Too bad bad non-of them has the game since it's banned in my country. After I gave up playing with strangers, I decided to use the keys to Kyrat code and my brother helped me to get the 2 co-op trophies.

Humiliation in what sense? Do you mean that the post match taunts are back from the Farcry 3 MP?

 

Read the previous two paragraphs in this comment and you'll know. It's a humilation when you finish the game a week ago and wasted a whole week because people online were assholes to help you with co-op. One week was enough to beat another game instead of getting 2 tropihes.

I loved the game. It's so much fun. 62 hours of gameplay. I'm now moving to play another one after I got the platinum. Enjoy it man. However, Wolfenstin: The New order is my GOTY, an amazing single player old-school shooter game. You should give it a try.

As for Far Cry 3, I've never played it. I actually haven't played any big game from gen 8. You can name almost any big series and I probably won't have played it.

I was in highschool most of gen 8 and I didn't have job so I could only really spend my money on games that my brothers and I would play for months. So we usually just bought Call of Duty, NBA 2K, and NHL. 

But yeah now I can buy most of the games I want to so it's all good. I'll probably play Far Cry by the weekend and platinum it.

Brazil always had a huge "informal" market, and until the PS3 piracy was basically 95% of how we got things here, but after it and still today the grey market is our way out of this shit. Some stores buy the products from USA or EU for dat good price they always have and try to bring here to sell.
Even we having huge import taxes over international products (plus our already huge taxes to anything, specially videogames), even so it can come to be sold for 2000-2200 BRL here by well known stores. But some lesser stores can actually import it without the taxes by doing it with way less volume and just passing by it unnoticed so we can get PS4s here for dat 1500-1600 BRL.
Sony have a decent price (for our standarts) with the PS3 here as they build it nationally, but I don't know why they didn't started doing the same with the PS4 already so it could also had a 1800-2000 official price here (still more than the grey market but somewhat decent and under the normal import price).
I'm pretty sure the reason they don't do it is that they know it won't sell as much in that price either, so they don't care to give it a try. Sony BR is a piece of shit. In that regard MS BR is stomping them, as they do try to believe in our market with their XBO (they do build it here).

I hope we can get it with a decent price soon or fuck them and I'm going to for the grey market version this year.
I would gladly pay 1800 for a official one here than 1500 for one from the grey market, to help Sony keep doing business here.
And I remember they saying they would try to get it for 1000 (basically the same as the USA price) since the launch, lol.
If the PS4 was 1000 here we would be a pretty big market for them. Everyone I know want to get one.

I heard that Sony is planning to manufacture PS4 locally just like PS3 there to exclude taxes but not sure when. Hope it will be sooner than later.

By comparison, hows the WiiU and XB1 price? I heard that XB1 are way cheaper than PS4 and that is including Kinect. Is that true? If yes then how MS does that?

i just dont see people subscribing for those prices. even though the prices are insane for the amount of content you get. but i still dont see people jumping on board.
