Japan will be getting it, too. Why does the US always not get the standalone colored consoles?

A bigger HDD would also make it cost more.

Don't care about the console, but I hope they'll release the white pad as a stand-alone. I'll jump on it without any thinking.

I know the game will be beautiful, but so far it looks like the engine is meh. Quite important in a first party racing game. I'm really waiting for the game because I know it will feel and looks great, but those 30 fps are really a clear stop for me since I'm used to pc gaming and luxury 60 fps...

But I still think the game will sell. First, because there's actually NO quality racing game on the console. Second, because it is beyond beautiful, a fact that still hugely matters for a large bunch of players. Third point is Project cars might no be as good as people thought. So, there's still some room.

I believe that the standalone white Dualshock 4 is already out, at least in the US.

Clearly you've never played an Evolution game before. They are easily the best racing game developers IMO and there's no doubt that Driveclub will be amazing. It wouldn't sell for any of the crappy reasons you just gave but because it will be an amazing game.
