They got rid of their last PS2 stock in the april-june quarter iirc, so production probably stopped a while before that. Oh and PS2 is a true beast.

DF have done a hands on with Driveclub (the gamescon build): http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-hands-on-with-driveclub

Highlights for the lazy:
- Everything from the lighting to the weather is done in real-time. Nothing is baked/faked.
- Full volumetric cloud system.
- Reflections are done globally, not just locally.
- Rock-solid 30fps with perfect frame-pacing.
- A materials-based system in in place across all cars and tracks. Lighting, reflections and effects react differently based on the object material.
- They're using deferred, tile, and forward render systems.
- Procedural damage system. Uses multiple layers of materials to simulate impacts based on point, speed and direction.
- Great IQ. 1080p + pixel, temporal and material AA systems along with FXAA.
- They've put a lot of effort into keeping the latency as low as possible (similar to FH).

Very impressive stuff. Tech wise DC looks on track (huehue) to be the most "next gen" title available this year.

New info on Without Memory, by Dinosaurum Games will be coming out this month and next month. Really looking forward to their first trailer.

"On September 8th, in just two days, we’ll get new plot details on the game. on the 11th a new development blog will be posted. On the 18th, we’ll finally get the first actual screenshots of the demo level. Between the end of the month and the beginning of October we’re going to see the first in-game trailer."
