What did you think about Sony's Pre-TGS Conference?

if they buy crytek they should pick out the best 300 or so and let the rest go, turn them into a two team studio, one works on homefront and the other a new timesplitters. If they buy crytek without downsizing them considerably, then it would be a poor acquisition imo

If Sony was to expand on their World Wide Studios, wouldn't it be logical to buy Ready at Dawn, Housemarque and Quantic Dream. They already do PlayStation only, so you might as well acquire those, right?

One could also look at it in this way: "They already do PS only, so why bother acquiring them?"

No risk of losing a studio which makes exclusive games.

RAD sure, maybe.  QD has never once shown an interest in other platforms, though.  Sony's been pretty good to them with regards to giving them freedom to explore anything David Cage can dream up.

Heavy Rain was a masterpiece. QD games in general add a nice diversity to PS library.
