GG's new ip has been talked about openly and we even know its been in dev for 2.5 years by now, so its safe to assume they will be at E3 as well.

Atelier Rorona Plus coming out on June 20th (EU) and June 24th (NA) for PS3, and PS Vita :D

Changes include:

  • New character models.
  • New field model for more vibrant scenery.
  • Additional stories- new chapters featuring Totori and Meruru (the main characters of the other two parts of the Arland trilogy), extra content, and new illustrations.
  • Additional Content, including various playable characters, maps, bosses, costumes, and more.
  • Improved Synthesis system and new assignment system.
  • Expanded Item Crafting.
  • New battle system with advanced battle features, skill execution between various characters, etc.
  • A Time Capsule system that allow players to bury items in Atelier Rorona and pick them up in Atelier Meruru and Totori (cross content with PS Vita versions of Atelier Meruru Plus and Atelier Totori Plus).
  • Over 30 different Endings: Depending on how you interact with characters and complete your missions, the ending will change, making for extremely high replay value.
  • Cross Save/ Share data between the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions.

    With how long its been in development for, would we really be surprised if GG's RPG released this Holiday?

    I suppose it depends on a combination how how ambitious GG's new game is, and the releases dates of UC4/The Order. UC4 has been in development for about the same time as GGs game, and The Order is expected at the end of the year as well. At least 1 of them is going to have to be moved to 2015 (Sony would have to be pretty dumb to put three of their big AAA titles against each other). Heck, i'm skeptical they will even want 2 of them clashing during the holidays.

    I'd be extremely surprised if either the new GG game or Uncharted 4 are scheduled for the holidays. I'd say March 2015 for GG's new title and September/October 2015 for Uncharted 4. The Order I can see making this year, but if it doesn't, there is going to be a serious drought this Holiday season for PS4 exclusives.

    Yeah, either way i'm skeptical they'd even want more than 1 AAA title in the holiday, especially if it's going to be a new IP.

    I personally expect The Order this year and UC4 / GG's new IP sometime during 2015. It will be interesting to see if they will hold UC4 until the end of next year, or break the series trend of October - December release dates.

    Have to say though, based on current reports 2015 sure does seem like it's going to be a busy year for the PS4 o.o

    I am getting superhyped for Watch Dogs, and I really loved this trailer...

    I get a GTA V vibe, but with better story and gameplay... I hope I won't be disappointed in 20 days...
