Who else is relieved ms didn't secure a big 3rd party game like tomb raider, mass effect 4, etc? I for sure thought they would, maybe that was just the hype.

I think MS securing exclusivity was far far more likely pre-launch of the PS4/One.  Now that devs are seeing how the sales are going, it'll cost Microsoft an arm and a leg to entice them into exclusivity, I just don't see them doing that.
