I pre-ordered as soon as they became available on Amazon after the E3 $399 MSRP price announcement.

Based upon the mileage I got out of the PS3 as a platform (also supported the Wii and the XB360 over the 7th gen.) it was a pretty easy call, knowing that the SCE IPs I enjoyed on the PS3 would see future games on the PS4. It didn't hurt that it was the clear hardware performance leader, even before the benchmarks confirmed it.

I got a PS4 because that's where most of the stuff I enjoy is. The PS3 was my go to console last gen, and I owned all three consoles. This gen I own a PS4 and Wii U, no Xbox.

Well, only 2 more days til' the Playstation Meeting on this Wednesday, 3 pm ET.
