if i am gonna play a souls game its gonna be DS3, because... new is always better lol. if i do play it, and like it, then i might get DS2 on PS4 with all the DLC and shit. but either way, april is Uncharted month. so me getting a Dark Souls game is a long way off

Anyway, you are losing a lot by not playing it, you'll eventually understand it if you play it.

It's ok though, there is a lot of great stuff about to come, but you really should give it a try when you can.

actually it does have some truth, with games gameplay usually moves forward and a lot of "great games" become totally unplayable after some good few years, todays gaming standards are a lot different than they were just 5 years ago. (heck Mass Effec 1 is literally unplayable garbage for me). so it does have some truth!

i doubt that applies to DS2 on PS4 though, but if im gonna play a DS game its gonna be DS3. i think i will eventually play it, but later on when it gets really cheap. plus, April is uncharted month!

i am loving a lot of the things that From Software are doing, like the mystery and hidden secrets and paths the game offers. i missed SO much in my first play through of bloodborne, that its making my NG+ really worth it and feeling like a somewhat unique experience. so im not saying that DS doesnt interest me, it does, but bloodborne managed to garner a lot more interest from me.

If you had told me a European company made it I'd believe you. The art style feels mix of east and west.   A ssomeone who plays a lot of Japanese games I may be skewed, but this feels closer to an "Ico" in regards to design and aesthetic.

the art style does feel a mix of west and east, at least for the city, but for the characters it seems purely japanese. from what it looks like, the gameplay seems to be something that you would expect in an western game, not a JRPG. 

its not that i downplay japanese games (i am unable to stop rambling about bloodborne in this very thread) but the style just doesnt appeal to me.

No official information but its possible the Luna character might join it mid or late game i dont really know.

Cid or Luna might join at some point.

They said the group will interact with female characters as a important part of the game, dunno what that means if they'll get some chicks or there will be female chars here and there as guests, like on FF XII, but it'll mainly be a mens road trip adventure xP

It'll be a different experience, let's see how it goes.

You can always pretend Noctis is a girl, though

I don't know... they look so bland and unappealing to me. I wish we could at least change their clothes to something more... colorful lol

I must say I am loving the Witcher 3..Already up there with Mass Effect as one of my favorite wrpgs. Hopefully it can hold me over until ratchet and clank releases
