Kojima would still lead a studio, not join one, even if he leads a team like there happens in Japan Studios, I feel like it would be more like Polyphony Digital, still being Kojima Productions, but under Sony.

 


That seems how it will play out after that game is released. Kojima seems like he's already a part of sony.

Either that or he'll be in yet another exclusive anyway.

Kojima games needs a lot of money and time, it just won't work for a good while as an independant being, it needs a lot of support.

He may want to keep it like Insomniac, very close to Sony for a good while, keeping it's freedom but serving as an exclusive studio as Sony will be supporting it for a while, then it can latet stand on its own and probably aim for multiplatforms.

I hope Sony is trying to secure Kojima in this meantime, but I really dunno if it'll work, Kojima is most likely aiming for that freedom and stability of being able to be your own boss, after Konami.

Either would work out for us. Sony does give it's studios alot of freedom with their games and they don't end becoming a sequel factory.
