Hm, do we know which outlet that dude is working for? Anyway, like I said the game has been growing on me, reviews will be interesting.

But just imagine if out of nowhere Until Dawn becomes a surprise hit with the critics and then commercially as well comparable to Shadow of Mordor last year? What if it did actually win GOTY awards? The shitstorm would be so much fun to witness. Suddenly the "no gaemz" PS4 would have games again. :D

You can fully expect to read/hear that it's a movie, PS games have no gameplay, the no games and only remasters stuff getting said again, wether it reviews well or poorly, how much more it goes away from an average score, the more intense it'll get.

Sure but think about how hilariously desperate it would come across if people tried their hardest to hate on the game if it got something crazy like a 90+ metacritic score. :D

I remember even those people finding quite a lot of complaints about the game even before reviews hit, so who knows.

Well, I don't think it'll happen, but yeah, would be crazy.
How do you think it'll score BTW? I'm guessing low 80's, I would go with 82.

I'm still expecting it to score in the 70s honestly, but would love to be positively surprised, if only for the fallout. If you haven't already I think you should just check out some gameplay videos on youtube, there's quite a lot of them on there already and they really made me interested in the game. If the score ends up poorly I'll still watch it on youtube cause I think it will still be pretty entertaining, if it's decent (like 75+) I might get it for $40 or so and if it's really good (85+) I may even consider paying full price.
