To my hometown, sadly not for a good reason, but seems like 2 days offline weren't noticed

Everything ok? I was actually up north for a few days so I wasn't on either

Of course! Around day one... or two.

Dat mixed feelings.
Want the game, don't want to give money to Konami, then go used asap

Sigh. Which would tell Konami

"People don't want our home console games anymore, seems like going mobile was the right decision!" and "See, Kojima was spending way to much money for MGSV compared to what we're gonna make from it with these sales, good thing we fired him!"

Instead of if you buy it, which would tell Konami

"People want our home console games after all! Maybe we shouldn't completely abandon home console..." and "Huh, I guess Kojima had a point, spending all that money on making MGSV the best game possible gave us incredible sales, dammit, why did we fire him?"

Also all you guys that have been saying "MGS is dead without Kojima", MGS would've been dead with Kojima as well. MGS' end has been long overdue, now we might finally get a proper end to it, and Kojima can move on like he has wanted for a decade now.

Also oops, didn't mean to write "MGSV would've been dead with Kojima", but "MGS would've been dead with Kojima".

MGS end actually already happened with MGS 4. MGS 5 happens before 1 and after 3.
And I don't think buying the game tell them that, they already decided to move, it only gives them more time to survive while destroying their franchises people love, as they are already doing with Castlevania (and I think Silent Hill as well).
Konami has to die as soon as possible and someone else buy their IPs.

With end I meant like no more MGS.

How are they destroying Castlevania and Silent Hill? Is it by making Pachinko machines using those franchises? Because Konami has done that with their game franchises for decades.

Konami won't die. Believe it or not, but they are doing pretty good financially as a mobile game developer, their home console games though, not so much. That's literally the only reason they went to mobile. Home console games were getting way to expensive and risky, and their sales just weren't good enough anymore. People stopped buying Konami's games, so now they're gonna stop making them.

I'll get MGS5 when it's on sale in December
Unless the Nep intervenes

Right so who here has Rapture yet?
