I reckon it'll be Ganon. Nintendo knows they need to go big on this Zelda and ultimately the legend is about the princess, the hero and Ganon and their struggle for control of the Triforce.

What it could well be is Act 1 is Link vs new villain working to resurrect Ganon, he fails and Act 2 is Link trying to halt Ganon's efforts and bring him to justice. Classic story, almost a retelling of Ocarina, but one that allows the game to shine and make players misty eyed.

And then if the Wii U gets a second Zelda (personally doubt it), then it'll be a new/secondary antagonist.
