This 720p has been confirmed by many sites . Eurogamer just stated the game is 1080/60FPS in regular way instead of stating whether its Native or upscacled. The one who wrote the article just tried to provide his preview on the demo he played. I'm sure this is 720p but some people think its real 1080p.



GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

That's very misleading because they ve added "even in multiplayer" like it was something to brag about, and the op thought so as well, but every game is 1080p on PS360 with that kind of standard. Could be even 4K on a capable TV, we are passed that in 2014.

in split screen it's actually 640x720 and 640x360 in 4P mode

So is it 720 or 1080? confirmed and final?
I will wait before I comment otherwise I might end up looking stupid like people who posted earlier.

The trailer showed that it's still Mario Kart, therefore you should know if you'll like it if you've played any of it's more recent predecessors!

Your just butthurt because the mighty PS4 has a hard time doing what the WiiU is doing which is 1080p with 60fps lol. Can't wait for MK8.

 Yes... Because clearly the PS4 could never run MK8 at 1080p 60 FPS. But, sarcasm aside, nah. I enjoy watching the PS4 continue to thrive while the Wii-U is slowly dying. I'm sure you're butthurt because the mighty Wii-U has a hard time getting third party support lol

I'm not one of those people who thinks this is an indication that the Wii U is comparable power wise with the PS4 and XB1.

I'm also not one of those people who dismisses this as completely insignificant because of the 'cartoon' graphics, because that is equally naive.

Comparisons like GT5/6 and Wipeout aren't particularly valid because comparing their graphical style with Mario Kart is futile and they don't run a standard 1920/1080p 60fps (if we are going to picky).

I don't know what other games on the Xbox360, PS3 or Wii U have reached that mark but there aren't many and the only cart racer that has as far as I'm aware is Sonic  All Star Racing on the PC.

So IF it's true it IS interesting and can't so easily be dismissed, that is if you actually care about this kind of thing. At the end of the day, however, MK's fortunes are not going to turn on it's resolution.
