i cant believe they fucking did that. its like they tried to find the worse fucking ending possible. 

the entire 9th fucking season was ALL about Robin and Barney's wedding just to make them divorce barney to knock some bitch up?

ted and robin to end up together and for their mother to die?  really?

honestly this is by far the worst ending i ever saw for anything. 

they just say her name once, i honestly forgot it. piece of advise, dont bother with the show.

But ya I completely agree. It was total garbage. I don't think a TV show has ever made me as mad as I got when I saw that final episode

So they pulled a Lost then? They never had a clear idea from the start anyway but they marketed it like they did?

They decided on the ending mid season two apperantly. but the show went on for another 7 seasons, and during those 7 seasons everything that happened just didnt go along with the ending, they got stuborn and didnt budge, so they fucked them self over. The ending was just a huge middle finger to everything that happened in the entire show. 

its unbelievable, any desire for me to watch "how i met your dad"  if it ever happens has completely died off. 

Couldn't disagree more. I thought the ending was absolutely perfect and the only one that would make sense. It was a mediocre show with one of the best ending I've seen.

there will be a second ending on DVD i think..and i totally agree worst season ever worst ending possible. when you think about it he used his dead wife to persuade his own kids this is pure evil :D

yeah season 9 was really really bad. 

i dont care about an alternate ending, this one stuck with me. they fucked up big time.
