Forums - Microsoft Discussion - COD: Advanced Warfare DLC first on Xbox

Downloadable content for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will come out first on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Microsoft announced the timed DLC exclusive for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare today, which isn't anything new for the series on Xbox systems. DLC for Call of Duty: Ghostsalso hit Xbox One (and Xbox 360) before other platforms, for example.

While Activision and Sledgehammer Games planned to unveil Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on Sunday, the trailer and additional information for the new series installmentwere leaked overnight. An Amazon listing has since detailed the FPS game even further, saying that Kevin Spacey will portray Jonathan Irons, the leader of the world's largest private military contractor, Atlas.

IGN has a full rundown of all of the revealed futuristic technology showcased so far in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, including the exoskeletons, portable cover and hover bikes. According to Microsoft, the new FPS "takes place in a plausible future in which technological progress and today’s military practices have converged with powerful consequences."

Probably not because CoD: Ghosts on PS4 easily outsold the X1 version and the same will probably happen again with AW.

We all know this is a tradition now.

Praise the One.

Hmm, I wonder if a 3-month exclusivity of the CoD:AW game would boost X1 sales.

Didn't they already confirm this at the original Xbox reveal?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
