that still sacrifices framerate, lowers AA potential, and risks screen tearing along with the artifacts that come from scaling.
Now if they would add options to console games like PC gaming (make it an opt-in feature that people have to very carefully manually select in system options for example), then they could select native 720p rendering with AA and vsync. Or 800p + upscale for example.
more options = more better.
If it comes out and there are absolutely zero issues, I'll be shocked (assuming 800p + bad AA + possible framerate/tearing issues).

I'm guessing native 1080p on PS4 again, and 720p on XBone again. Nothing really shocking here.
It looks like the tiles are slowly becoming available to the developers, good. At this rate, in 2018 it will go beyond 1080p.
