Physical for now. But if I give a Wii U as a gift, I may just download MK8 and pass along my physical copy.

Paste embed's while in html mode.
Use old embed code as well.
Also I want everyone who comes to my apartment to play the game to hold the case and feel the power of the green eyed monster.

Aaah, I see. So what you are really trying to say is that you don't live with children?
I will get the retail version, pre order on the internet. Usually I get the game at least two days before it comes out, but lately (Tropical Freeze) I get the games a full WEEK before the launch date! Yay
Yep.

No. I'm saying that your reasoning is nonsensical. Might as well not keep anything in your house if blu rays aren't safe.

Yeah, you have no clue. Obviously nothing in the house is safe if you live with kids, that doesn't mean you need to add more possible stuff to be broken. Kids carve their name with rocks into the very foundation of your home. They don't slide the bluray disc over the corner of the table and rejoice at it's prestine playback afterwards. They put all the game disc in the toaster, then microwave them for 22 minutes and 22 seconds, dump them in the toilet and burry them in the catbox. Failing that, they will break them in two with pliers and use them as frisbees that sail away into all your neigbours yards. Then they will cover the rest in a 2 inch layer of paint/nailpolish/peanutbutter/butt paste/anything in the world. And if the bluray disc is still unscratched it won't matter cause you will never find them since they are all jammed in under your heaviest bookshelf.
This doesn't happen to digital downloads.
