"lol" your inane, unknowledgable commentary is actually the pointless thing here

You still have not said anything that can prove me wrong......
All the One is to a tv is middleware. You play a game and want to watch tv you hit "channel up" on your controller and it will take you to tv channels (amazing concept right?) then when you want to play a game you hit "input" to play your game..... Why put wear and tear on a console over this? It is pointless

you and j_allard really have short term memory problems. j_allard thinks that Xbox fans didn't brag about multiplatform games performing better on 360 and here you are thinking that the mantra of Xbox fans last gen wasn't "we just care about the games" when talks of extra features boosting value came up, because you could get a 360 for cheaper and that's all that mattered. You need to increase your omega-3 fatty acid and ginkgo intake. |
No thats not what i said. I said both were talked about the same way. Hey but keep rewriting the past to continue the war. You are definitely only trying to get MS and Sony fans to argue with each other. It must be how you get your rocks off. Reaching deep in the past. I like your personal insult also. You insinuated it strong. Wasnt funny but still. Why not just come out and call me dumb tho?
Stay vigilant and keep your helmet on.

Wear and tear? You not serious are you? Its no more wear and tear than watching a dvd or blu ray in your game console. Been in there since PS2. You have to be joking. Or will you say its not suppose to be used like that. Only game disks

So I guess you only make phone calls on your phone? If the Xbox was made only to play games I could see the point your trying very hard to make. But it does not apply to something that is made for what people are doing with it . He is using the Xbox for what it is intended to do. Why do you have a issue with that? Computers were not made to be used to stream netfix....but people do it, is that excessive wear and tear? Just asking...curious.

If it is on that causes wear and tear. Period. There is no sense in causing wear and tear for no reason. Watching a DVD/Blu-Ray in it has a purpose using it to watch tv does not

You did not describe middleware. You described using the machine.

And using the machine to do what one of its purposes is...is watch t.v. These are not "game consoles" there "entertainment consoles" Have been for awhile. Excessive wear and tear would be plugging in and out the hdmi cable 10 times a day or doing the same with the power plug. Using its features is not. Make sure you turn off your computer when your done, so you done cause excessive wear and tear. How dare anyone use the hdmi in for its intended purpose. Shame shame shame.
@cmay227. I do not care what any of you guys do. But I can say in reality it is pointless and only damages the life of a machine. If you want to buy another Xbox One (from a company who makes the most unreliable consoles) 3-6 months sooner than you had to that is your business. I am not going to waste electricity and damage my machine for a middleware device with no purpose.
With this said the One is a good gaming console but kinect/tv features are a joke.
