Hasn't officially been said yet, but I guarantee you 100% it will be the default settings, meaning 2 minute time battles. That's the best way to make sure everyone can play!

Pokemon XY is number 1, COD Ghost didn't sell for next gen didn't sell that high, your adding in all the multiplats. So no.

Point is SSB is a huge game. In terms of sales, it'll be less obviously with a much lower install base but still. Last i checked SSB is the biggest Fighting genre game and by farrrrrr.

SSB has one of the best Fan bases of all time too. Look up tournies and such, aside from SF2, SSBM (and Project M). You would see despite no representation from nintendo, the Smash Community is big.

@OP

Hard to hard with your logic. We had a blast at last years E3 2013 Best Buy experience where we got to play Mario Kart 8, DKC Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World, and Zelda Wind Waker HD.

Well Pikmin doesn't appeal to me that much. I played the original but never finished it. Then I bought the NPC Wii version of both Pikmin 1 and 2, but never finished them, either.

Why are you including last gen numbers?

PS4 Ghosts = 2.11 million (sold 31,000 last week)

X1 Ghosts = 1.69 million (sold >21,000 last week)

Next Gen CoD = 3.8 million (at max sold 52,000 last week)

X & Y = 10.8 million (sold 41,000 last week)

 

You are right about legs tho, even if its multiplatform.

It's not a replacement for E3, it is their E3! If a simple format change bothers you so much, that's all on you! I'd think the content itself is what matters, not how it's presented.
