Forums - Gaming - With A Possible RE7 Announcment Soon How Can Capcom Avoid A Resident Evil 6 Disaster?

Or maybe.. Resident Evil 6 wasn't even the intended main story line game. Maybe revelations was intended to be RE6 and 6 was supposed to be a spin off, but switched the titles because of contractual issues.

The same thing happened back with RE3 and CODE: Veronica. CV for Dreamcast was intended to be RE3 and 3 was set to be a spin off, but because Capcom had a contract with Sony saying that main RE games must release on the Playstation, the titles of the games were simply switched.

I believe that RE7 will be a lot more like Revelations than RE6.

Easy, don't make it a dumbed down, brotastic, COD-aping explosion fest.

Stop trying to make RE4 again, the ship sailed, it's time to move on.

Revelations showed they still know how to make a good RE game.

By "Resident Evil 6 disaster", do you mean making an awesome game that many people are too stupid to appreciate? I dunno... make smarter people, I guess.

I respect your taste in games, but I also know you can have have a cruel sense of humour. So I am very confused about how to interpret this post. I haven't played a RE game since Code: Veronica X. I'm not sure whether I want to play a RE game that isn't in that classic style. Though I'd still like to try RE5 gold edition.

I did rather enjoy the RE Revelations demo I played.

This. Certainly the game lacks charm from the original Resident Evil games, but outside that and the "I become Tyranossaurus Rex then switch back to human" boss, the game was enjoyable.

And it has offline co-op, which by the way, is something that most games out there don't have.

I approve of this message.

Capcom needs to give that game out on PS+ and Xbox GWG. Its great game more people should try.
