I didnt use the current userbase, 5-6mil is if mh came out on vita and by end of year. I THINK vita is about 3.5mil now in japan!

Edit: Oh Damn its around 2.8mil now, i thought it hit 3mil last year.

Maybe if it was a simultaneous multiplat, though. Then it could prove to some antsy investors that the "lowest-selling platform" wasn't a viable option anymore.

IMO at least 3 million LT if you count DL too. Plus add the benefit of massive payed DLC, and I could evenb see it as a contender for the highest income a MH game ever made. Allas, we all know Capcom hates money :P

It's hard to say, but the Monster Hunter franchise is definitely a system seller in Japan, and will likely boost Vita sales quite a bit if that happened (so it's difficult to predict an exclusive MH performance based off of the current install base for the Vita). However, I personally want a Monster Hunter title built specifically for home consoles (i.e., not just an enhanced port of a portable title), which I think would help boost the franchise's popularity in the west.
