Forums - Gaming - Can Persona 5 (Crimson?)Be Multiplat With The Next Nintendo Handheld (or Exclusive)? PQ Showing Good Signs :0

First, i doubt its technicly possible, second it would be a disservice to the series to lose the HD.

I dont know if you have a Vita tbone. Persona 4 golden on the 3DS just wouldnt be as charming without the HD.

Your roughly the millionth person to say this =P

He said next Nintendo handheld, not 3DS.

Which tbone expects to be similar to Vita power wise (earlier comment of his)

You never now what could happen.

Come 2015 I think the PSVita is gonna be the most relevant platform in japan, so considering their alignment with sony already, I think it would likely just be a Vita title. They could go a multiplatform route but right now they seem to be making specific games for specific platforms.

It's possible but unlikable because Persona main series is sony-related.Historicaly speaking, they probably will make a "P5 golden" or "P5VITA" version in the future!

The same way Monster Hunter was PSP-related. Responding the question I do think it's possible but the logic says it should release on ps vita.

The difference I would say though is that monster hunter is a mega franchise which Nintendo seemed to have a role in securing... I dont think they would bother with Persona which is big but not that mega. Of course anything is possible tough....

I just don't see it happening....the Persona fanbase is mostly on the Playstation side.

Though its very true, MH had millions and it was an easy transfer from gen to gen. Persona wouldn't be that bad. Besides it will remain to have the console version :0

Anyway Multiplat would be the best course of action

Id rather it be sony exclusive to keep the handheld market somewhat competetive. As weve seen this gen Nintendo stole most of sonys 3rd party relations, particularly square and capcom, and the Vita has suffered greatly despite being the more fitting hardware for lots of titles like RE revelations and Kingdom hearts.

I think I'll never understand why people want remakes/updated versions of console games on weaker handhelds, but I guess that's why I'm no handheld gamer...

Now a P5G release on PS4 or even better a simultaneous release of P5 on PS4, that's something I'd love to see, I could even see myself buying a PS4 just to play the better version of P5.

Unlikely, but would be another huge stab in the back for Sony. Yes Capcom, i'm pointing at you.

We could have Persona 5 Golden in both consoles. Atlus isn't known to push graphics to their limits on their games, if anyone thought that way then he is obviously wrong, Persona could be in HD or in SD or in 480p and it would be as fun as ever.

Persona should be multiplatform and it would actually benefit from that. More sales is always good, Atlus isn't on an exclusivity deal for the Persona series and Persona Q is proof of that. They want to know how well a Persona game could fare on the 3DS and If the experiment is a success then I am pretty sure that Persona 5 could make it's way to the 3DS.

Suprisingly with the way 3DS is going as of recent this wouldnt really surprise me at all. The only major thing Nintendo have going for them now outside of games in series already on 3DS (Pokemon, MonHun etc.) is a possible Dragon Quest.

Nope! It's most likely going to come out for good the ol' Vita!
