As far as I'm concerned, Microsoft contributes nothing of value to this industry.

Nintendo and Sony are needed, but Microsoft isn't....That being said none of them should leave.

Each of those companies are expendable so just throw the names into a hat and draw one. It's the fairest option.

Also Nintendo could most easily continue producing their games for other consoles, just as Sega does now.

Don't forget the Japanese Saturn commericals.

The moral of the story is buy a Saturn, or this man will find you, and beat you up until you buy a Saturn.
