Microsoft wins !

Ms, because i have a pc, so xbox are mostly useless for me.

And the new one would be...Sega, or Gung ho, or google ?

I don't think any of them should leave - competition and choice for the consumer is important.

I go with Microsoft because you can change them with a lot of other companies: Just do something multimedia, update your hardware every 5-10 years and invest in some games and online services. Nothing special. Of course there are exceptions and some great things Microsoft did like their great online possibilities but that's nothing compared to the things Sony and Nintendo did for the development of gaming in general.

Amazing, people want a video game company to drop out of video games! Go figure!!! I don't want anyone to drop out, we are lucky to have the choices of platforms we do, remember variety is the spice of life ;)

MS should leave the HW market and focus on software for PC. They should bring an app to windows which effectively gives PC's the same infrastructure as xbox. As an optional with a subscription fee, less people on this service are likely to cheat because they risk getting perma banned but they wouldnt since they paid for the membership.
At the very least, they should aim to take over from steam as the leading digital distributor.

Sony should leave the dedicated handheld market - Should continue with handheld but only in the form of streaming to mobile phones with dualshock support.

Nintendo should leave home consoles, remain in handheld but also sell games on android/ios/windows phone and the playstation store. The hardware would sell because not all phones would be capable of playing all the games, and it would be cheaper than buying a mid-high end phone.

Valve.

MS, they can go back to PC gaming properly, like the good ol' days, instead of focussing on Xbox and only feeding PC the scraps. Nothing stopping MS moving the entire Xbox ecosystem back over to PC, but over the past 10 years they've been unable to focus on both.

MS has brought a lot to the industry but sadly I don't see much of it as good, so them.

Out of any company, Square-Enix. I'd like for someone else to get their hands on the FF series and make it great again! EA could probably do a better job with the series. Out of the three options, Microsoft. They are just the crappy version of Playstation that's more expensive.
