It wouldn't shock me if WatchDogs PS4 beats MK8 first week.

I don't think the verdict is out on lifetime, Mario Kart should have way better legs. However, Watch_Dogs, especially combined, should outsell Mario Kart week 1 easily.

I choose Watch Dogs. Besides I have a bet with Tbone, Mario Kart 8 won't cross the 200k mark on launch day.

Ubisoft has sold a total of around 73 million games right?

The last Mario Kart console game alone sold around 30 million right?

Don't mix up initial hype for watchdogs with long legs.

Watch dogs comes out on 5 systems with a combined userbase of about 150m. Mario kart 8 comes out in a 6 mil userbase.

There is no comparison, though im sure mk8 will sell well, maybe even more lifetime.

Definitely more lifetime, even on a 20m install base MK will have a high attach rate and will be bundled, so 8m will be easy.

AC usually does around 10m? and I don't see Watchdogs being that big, probably around 8m also.

well considering reviewers will be bribed, watchdogs will get a good score and people will buy it ontop of the multiplat advantage.
